" You are very much off base to think that we (Black Americans) do NOT have something in common with Palestinians. Stop pushing your "us against them" commentary. This writer speaks of his affinity for Jewish people. There are writers who can speak to their affinity for Palestinians. And there are certainly writers who can speak to their affinity for both populations. All three have seen and experienced torment and tragedy.
